Terms and Conditions

  1. Flat Rate

    • Our advertised rate is our standard flat rate charge per hour for home and small business, and covers labour costs only.
    • Rates for network administration (business with 1+ Dedicated servers) are quoted at time of booking.
    • Rate may change anytime without notice, on public holidays, outside standard business hours and on weekends. Enquire at time of booking if you are unsure of rates.
    • Our minimum charge is $88.

  2. Guarantee
  3. OzBBS Network offers a "We don't fix it, you don't pay" Guarantee. This Guarantee is a Limited Guarantee, and does not apply in events which failure to repair the system is out of the technicians' control, or where the faulty computer is unable to be returned to an OzBBS workshop for further diagnostics or repairs.

  5. FREE CALL number is FREE from national fixed line phone services only. Extra charges may apply for mobile and pay phones. Consult your telecommunications carrier for further details.

  6. Downloads
  7. All downloads from the OzBBS website(s) are provided as is and with no support from the OzBBS Network.
    Downloads are provided for convenience only. There is no guarantee or warranty provided.
    If you have any difficulties with a download, you can book an OzBBS Network technician to assist you at an affordable hourly rate.

  8. Data Backups
  9. OzBBS Network will not be held liable for loss of data for any reason.
    Backing up your data is very important! Depending on how important your data is, and how often your data changes will affect how often you should backup your personal or company data. It is always the customer’s responsibility to ensure data is backed up in the event of a system failure resulting in replacement hardware or reinstallation of the operating system. OzBBS Network can assist you with automated backup solutions, please ask your technician any questions you may have about the safety of your data before work commences. Additional charges will be incurred if a recovery attempt is required.

  10. Software and Licences
  11. OzBBS Network Technicians require that you have available, all relevant software and software licences associated with your computer equipment to ensure a smooth repair process. If you are using a Microsoft Windows operating system, the technician may require the original CD and drivers which should have come with your computer and access to the licence key which should be on a Microsoft Certified sticker attached to your computer.
    If you have any questions regarding software or software licencing, please consult your OzBBS Network Technician for advice.
    Failure to provide original software may incur additional charges to replace.

  12. Account Payment
  13. Unless otherwise specified, all account payments are to be made at the time of the callout. The OzBBS Network will accept EFTPOS, VISA, MasterCard, Cheque and Direct Deposit. Some additional terms and conditions may apply for new clients when payments are made by Cheque or Direct Deposit. Please consult your Technician in advance if you plan to pay by Cheque or Direct Deposit. Invoices and Receipts are available at request for any transaction.
